Child Safety Standards

Zero-tolerance policy
OpenWorld has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behavior, sextortion, and any content that sexualizes or endangers minors.
Age requirements
OpenWorld requires all users to be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users must confirm they meet this age requirement during sign-up. Accounts believed to belong to children under 13 will be terminated immediately.
How we prevent CSAE
- Automated image screening — All user-uploaded images are analyzed by our image moderation system before they are made visible to other users. Images that are flagged are blocked from publication and reviewed.
- Community reporting — Every pin, comment, blueprint, and image can be reported by any user directly within the app. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.
- Content moderation — Our moderation team monitors reported content and has the ability to remove content, warn users, suspend accounts, and permanently ban users who violate our policies.
- User blocking — Any user can block another user, immediately preventing all interaction between them.
How we respond to CSAE
When CSAE material is identified or reported, we take immediate action:
- Immediate removal — The content is removed from the platform without delay.
- Account termination — The account responsible is permanently banned and all associated content is removed.
- Law enforcement reporting — We report all confirmed or suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline, as required by U.S. federal law. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
- Evidence preservation — Relevant data is preserved as required by law to support investigations.
